Send a Useful Audio or Caption Report
Include the title or episode URL, source, language and observed symptom in an audio or caption report. The useful distinction is whether a track is missing, incorrect, silent or out of time, not simply that language settings do not work.
Identify the selected content
For a film, confirm the production year. For television, record the parent show, season and episode. A report about the wrong selected unit can otherwise be mistaken for a bad audio or subtitle file.
Describe what the player actually offers
State whether a language appears in the menu and what happens when selected. If the problem is timing, describe early, late or changing alignment. If it is silence, note which mute and output checks you made before comparing another source.
If checking the menus reveals a fault, Work Through Sound and Caption Problems explains the next observations to collect.
Send only the information needed
Add device, browser and approximate time when the symptom may depend on the environment. Remove private details from screenshots. Passwords, Google codes, authentication cookies and player tokens are not needed to identify a public title and its selected language option.
