Distinguish Muted Playback from a Missing Audio Track
Check sound at the player, browser tab and device before deciding that a source has no audio. These controls are separate layers, and a silent start can occur even when an audio track is present and the video plays correctly.
Inspect the visible player controls
Look for mute and volume inside the selected source. If it offers an audio menu, inspect which tracks are available. A production-country field or subtitle language does not establish that the player is currently unmuted.
Compare the tab and output device
Check browser-tab mute and the device's volume or selected output using the controls available to you. Compare another ordinary audio source on the device. That can distinguish a local output problem from silence limited to the current video.
If checking the menus reveals a fault, Work Through Sound and Caption Problems explains the next observations to collect.
Report the remaining symptom accurately
If the title remains silent while other audio works, note the selected server and whether its audio menu lists a track. Compare another available source with the same title. Report those observations without guessing that every copy of the film has lost its soundtrack.
